Maruah is a semiannual journal published by Loka Diklat Keagamaan Pekanbaru. As stipulated by regulations outlined by the Minister of Religion in 2021, Loka Diklat Keagamaan Pekanbaru operates as a technical unit for implementing education and training initiatives. It operates under the authority of the head of the research and development agency for religious education and training at the Ministry of Religion.
The primary objective of this journal is to disseminate research findings and studies focusing on various aspects including approaches, models, strategies, methods, media, learning innovations, and the development of teaching materials. These contributions aim to enhance the quality of training and religious education.
Established on December 12, 2022, Maruah underwent reconstruction and resumed publishing on August 22, 2023. The journal is released biannually, with issues in June and December each year.
